PRETTY POLKA DOT

Hey there! So still on Miss Zooey Deschanel this week but now focusing on the polka dot print. Deschanel is known for her retro quirky sense of style and isn't afraid to experiment with different patterns.

.
Here we have Zooey in a flirty, playful polka dot
dress that reflects her vibrant personality

Polka dot is retro but current. It is a style that is repeated but adapted  to create new styles that can be worn by anyone. Deschanel is not the only one fashioning the trend, other actresses such as Cameron Diaz,Anne Hathaway and Emma Roberts are also wearing it which highlights how popular it is.

Penny spot midi dress from Topshop for
£48.00

This dress screams retro but has a sophisticated look because of the use of black and white. I feel it is a must have outfit as it can be casually worn as a day dress but a pair of heels could make it appropriate for smart wear.

Here is Zooey at another awards show in a
pretty polka dot dress very similar to topshops
version!

Here is another retro image that I love!

Nude floral skirt

Warehouse outfit
shirt £15.00
These are a few other examples of polka dot influenced outfits!
The skirt described as floral has i feel a polka dot effect, it is a very delicate looking and perfect to be worn to a party night out.The warehouse outfit is a trend very in at the moment with the drainpipe patterned trousers.

Here's another fun way to paint your nails like Zooey that will jazz up any outfit!

If you want nails like these just go on this video like I did.

All for now! xx

PARTY DRESS!

Hey there! This week im focusing on the 'retro look'. And who wears it better than American actress Zooey Deschanel!? At the 2012 Emmy awards Deschanel wore a long pale blue strapless dress which i  think has a retro feel but is yet simple and elegant for such a formal event.

To add to her quirky image the star got her nails done too!

Everyone loves a party dress! So instead of the long elegant look why not go for the shorter version? It may not be the typical retro polka dot or flower printed dress but it still has the element of fun!

So got a party coming up? why not treat youself!

New look ruffle dress £54.99

Introducing Morgan Emporium....

Hello there! Now that I'm in my second year as a fashion management student  it has given me the    opportunity to create my own blog! Fashion is  my addiction and something i cant live without.I can never get bored of it because it is always changing, introducing new styles or reviving the old ones. What you wear becomes part of who you are, part of your identity reflecting your mood or even your personality. For me, i cant just stick to one style as there are so many looks to try and experiment with and have fun with! In my blog,in order to keep up with the different trends I'm going to follow what celebrities are wearing and how they are wearing it. Being a student i can understand that a lot of what is worn by celebrities are out of  price range therefore I'm also going to post a similar outfit that is affordable from the high street that will not break the bank balance but will still create the desired look.
 Hope you enjoy! xx
