That Special Sparkle

Now its coming up for Christmas!!!!!! are you as excited as i am?? well this special occasion needs a new outfit. I have been searching and searching but cant seem to decide.

This dress is £55 from Oasis but is everything I'm looking for in a party dress. Its flirty short and sparkly. I really like Oasis party wear and i think its worth spending  a bit more on a special occasion.

Purple is one of my favourite colours and the use of the silver still gives it that party Christmas feel with the detail on the shoulders and belt. Also from Oasis for £70

Also a good place for party clothes is New Look, especially with their Christmas sale on there is lots of  dresses to choose form for a good price.

This body con is just £30 from New Look.
I'm still on the hunt but I'm sure I'll find my Xmas outfit in time!

Cosy Christmas

Now we're in December it has come to the time when you have to decide whether its acceptable to wear a festive jumper. Im telling you that time is NOW!

Right now I am loving Topshop on what they have to offer. Thes jumpers are both £50 each and i think they are worth every penny! These festive tops dont just look cosy but are also so cute and just the thing to get you in the Chrismas spirit!

If not a jumper then why not a cosy cardigan like Kelly Rowland ?

 This one is also from Topshop and i think is my favourate. Oxblood is a colour thats very in this year and suits everyone.

Snow Shoes

Well I don't know about everyone else but this sudden change to icy snowy weather has given me the excuse to get new shoes! Some of you may think that practical shoes may not always look as pretty but I'm going to show shoes that are both sensible and stylish!

These high tops from Topshop are £45 but look comfy and practical and can be worn with jeans. They also have a slight wedge for those of you that like a bit of extra height. If not worn with jeans then maybe a skirt?

This skater Topshop skirt is just £16, it may be simple but i think its a nice look.

A shoe collection is not complete without some high boots,these H&M ones are real leather and £69.

I really like these boots because they have a good heel and i like the blue wooly pattern used at the top to highlight the winter season.

I have browsed many online stores to see what shoes are on offer. I thought that next had a really good selection. Personally I don't think as Next as a store I would usually shop at but they always sell good high quality shoes.

I think these are practical but are nice and sparkly to get you in the Christmas season! They are £68 from Next.

A Wooly Winter...

It has been a chilly month so time to wrap up! what i love right now are wooly head bands and scarves.  Republic is a store that I think is not too expensive but has a lot to offer

This snood scarf is just £15 from republic and looks super cosy! I love the festive colour and patters!

Some of you might feel silly wearing these but they are becoming more fashionable and i love them! These are just a tenner from Republic.



Every year someone wears a funny hat to embrace the winter season! I really like this one from republic because its a bit of fun ond only £10.

furrrreezing!

Is it just me or is it getting slightly chilly?....Well i don't know about the rest of you but i welcome this cold weather as it gives me the opportunity or what i really mean is the excuse to buy new winter clothes!

At the moment i am loving fur (faux of course) on everything. I get warmer just by looking at it! who's wearing it well this season?

 

Everybody loves a bit of Kylie and look how shes wearing her new fur jacket this season. Keeping it simple with all black and grey bag to make the jacket the main attraction.

See how Alexa Chung wears it. Alexa's given it a touch of clamour with her red lip stick to match what you can see of her red dress.

Or if you prefer a bit of colour this blue faux fur coat still has a wintry feel to it and looks super cosy!

 

 This one is from topshop for £95. I really love this one because its more practical and has a cosy fur collar and cuffs.

 This one is also from topshop for £98. Again i like the design of the the collar and how it's fitted in at the waist. What i love about fur is that it always comes back in the winter season as it cant go out of style! But if you don't want to go all out and get a complete full fur jacket you can get ones with just fur trimmings or hood.

 I thought I'd share my new jacket i got this week with you all. As much as i love the full fur jackets I've settled for a cosy fur hood instead!

Peplum Paloma

You may think that singer song writer Paloma Faith wears outfits that are 'out there' but I find them to be colourful,fashionable and interesting to look at.  It is like her wardrobe is based on  fancy dress, its always bright or sparkly but always to her own individual taste.

Gearing up for Autumn/winter trends Paloma was seen this year in a metallic trouser suit with a peplum top.

I love how the Jacquard fabric has a shine to it. Peplum tops are really in this season and can be very flattering! Here are peplum influenced outfits from the high street!

The red top I feel is a colour that Paloma might wear as she often wears red to clash with her red hair. The enchanted print has calmer colours but I like how the pint jeans worn by the model brings out the pink in the top.

Stud Up!

At the moment studs are worn everywhere! On shoes,bags and necklaces you name it! Studs are the perfect way to give an outfit an edge. Kristen Stewart has worn a few dresses on the red carpet but one that springs to mind is the one she wore at the 2011 movie awards.

 

 

 

The use of safety pins and studs here create an almost Gothic rocker image that only Kristen can get away with. The fit of the dress shows off her slim figure and the red colour makes it stand out from the crowd.

 

 

This dress is a more toned down version that I love! For £40 from Republic its a flattering shape with the use of less studs but still getting the desired look.

 

 

 

 The use of spikes on Kristen's dress creates the  biker chick look that seems to be a popular trend right now.  If your not as bold as Kristen is with studs then go for something more simple but that still gives the same effect.

 

This blazer from Republic is for £40. It may look simple but the use of studs makes it more stylish and could be worn with anything to complete an outfit. Here are some more examples of studs being used.
